SECTION A: REVISED EXPERIMENTAL DESIGNS

PERU RESEARCH

Because tilapia are illegal in the Peruvian Amazon Basin, the Global Experiment could not be conducted in Peru. The following Peru Site Characterization, study code PR2, was used to replace the Global Experiment at the Peru Site. The Site Characterization and final report completion date was May 1998.

PD/A CRSP procedures and analytical methods as described in the Handbook of Analytical Methods and the Work Plans will be followed to collect water quality, soil, and climatological data to characterize the Peru site. In addition, PD/A CRSP Technical committee recommendations regarding data collection methods and frequency will be heeded. Data will be reported in a format consistent with PD/A CRSP templates.
