The Board of Directors consists of representatives from participating institutions, who are selected based on their relevant experience and responsibilities in higher level administration. The term length on the Board is three years, typically with service as chair in the third year. The Board consists of, at a minimum, four members. Consistent with BIFAD requirements, the Management Entity (OSU) has a permanent member on the Board, who does not serve as chair. Outside members may be appointed to the Board based on availability of funding and need. The Cognizant Technical Officer from USAID and the CRSP Director serve as ex-officio members.
